About us
Since 1948
Our history
Founded in the heart of Montréal’s Chinatown in 1948, Wong Wing takes its name from Marcel Wong, his sister Lucille, and their early financial partner, Mr. Wing. From the very beginning, they rolled up their sleeves to craft delicious spring rolls, fried rice, and garlic pork ribs treats that quickly found their way into Steinberg supermarkets.
Wong Wing first captured the nation’s attention at Montréal’s Expo 67 and later at Toronto’s Canadian National Exhibition. Today, the brand has grown into a household name across Canada, offering the country’s largest selection of frozen Chinese favorites available coast to coast.
Today, Wong Wing carries this tradition forward by offering a wide range of Asian‑inspired dishes, all prepared in Montréal with the same commitment to quality. From carefully selected ingredients to flavourful proteins, along with appetizers, sides, and complete meals, Wong Wing now offers a variety of dishes crafted for every occasion and every appetite.
