Preparation Method

How To Make Won Tons

Thaw covers overnight in the refrigerator in original packaging.

Place ½ teaspoon of homemade filling in center of pastry.

Moisten edges of pastry with egg white or milk using pastry brush or fingertip. Fold in half and press firmly to seal in filling.

Fold two ends back, moisten tip and press together.

During this process, keep the covers covered with a damp cloth to prevent them from drying out.

Cooking - Boiled

Bring 2 L of water to a boil in a pot (210.2 °F/99 °C).

Carefully drop in the won tons, one at a time. Stir gently to keep from sticking. Cook at medium-high heat for 4 minutes.

Drain and add to your dish or soup.

Cooking - Deep Fry

Fry 10 filled won ton covers for 2 minutes at 350 °F (176 °C) until golden brown

To cook covers without filling, deep fry in oil at 350 °F (176 °C) for 1 to 1½ minutes, until golden brown.

Notes

  1. Once thawed, refreezing is not recommended
  2. Time may vary depending on appliance
  3. Must be cooked. Ensure product reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 °F (74 °C)

Enriched wheat flour, Water, Liquid whole egg and/or Liquid egg white, Corn starch and/or Modified corn starch, Vinegar, Salt.
